What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners.
UK law (PECR — Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) requires us to tell you what cookies we use and to obtain consent before setting non-essential cookies.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the site to function. They do not require consent under PECR.

The live finnerd.co.uk site sets no strictly necessary cookies in normal browsing.
Analytics cookies
We use Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless by design. It measures page views and visitor flows without storing anything on your device — no cookies, no local storage, no fingerprinting.
No advertising or tracking cookies
We do not use advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking cookies. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar tools.
Third-party cookies
If you click through to external services (LinkedIn, template downloads, etc.) those sites may set their own cookies. We have no control over third-party cookies; please refer to each site's own cookie policy.
How to control cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of other websites you visit.
